Dear clients, dear readers,
The Czech Accreditation Institute (CAI), as a member of the European Organization for Cooperation in Accreditation (EA), the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and also a signatory of multilateral agreements on mutual recognition of accreditation results (EA MLA, IAF MLA and ILAC MRA), is obliged to introduce documents issued by these organizations into the accreditation system of the Czech Republic.
This information also includes EU legislation governing the area of verifiers of greenhouse gas emission reports, which will be introduced into the accreditation system of the Czech Republic.
In order to inform clients in advance about the issued and implemented documents of international organizations dealing with accreditation, CAI has prepared this information material, which is updated at monthly intervals. The practice remains that CAI accredited entities are informed via a letter from the relevant CAI managers.

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/2066 of 19 December 2018 on the monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions pursuant to Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and amending Commission Regulation (EU) No 601/2012;
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/2067 of 19 December 2018 on the verification of data and the accreditation of verifiers pursuant to Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council;
Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/331 of 19 December 2018 laying down transitional rules for the harmonised free allocation of emission allowances throughout the Union pursuant to Article 10a of Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.
