CAI is prepared for increased demand for assessments in the field of protective and medical devices

V období pandemie způsobené virem COVID-19 očekávali orgány státní správy a občané České republiky dostatečné kapacity odborně způsobilých subjektů k identifikaci koronaviru a posouzení účinnosti ochranných prostředků (roušky, respirátory, atd.).

Remote assessment is an assessment that takes place, in whole or in part, outside the premises of the subject being assessed. This assessment technique is used by assessors in cases where it is not possible or appropriate to visit the subject's premises, usually with the help of modern technologies such as telephone, e-mail, data mailbox and other software for online communication.

Throughout the pandemic, the expected demand for CAI's professional competence assessment has not been confirmed. If conformity assessment bodies respond flexibly to the needs of manufacturers and show interest in expanding the scope of their activities in the field of assessment of protective and medical devices and thus respond to the needs of manufacturers or importers, CAI is able to provide the required service within a few weeks.
