Let me inform you that in January 2025, the Czech Accreditation Institute (CAI) will organize a traditional seminar for Medical laboratories. As always, the seminar is intended not only for employees of accredited medical laboratories, but also for other interested parties. On December 31, 2025, the validity of ČSN EN ISO 15189 ed. 2:2013 expires, as well as accreditations granted according to this standard. It is therefore clear that the main goal of the seminar program is the mutual transfer of experience in implementing the requirements of ČSN EN ISO 15189 ed.3: 2023. The program will also include contributions regarding the flexible scope of accreditation, the reassessment process, CAI's policy on participation in testing programs, and the use of risk management. Registered participants will be able to send their questions before the seminar itself. We believe that this innovation will contribute to the quality of the seminar. Information about registration for the seminar and its specific program will be published on the CAI website by October 31, 2024.
