On 30 January 2026, the binding document IAF MD 4:2025, 3rd edition, for the use of information
and communication technology (ICT) for conformity assessment purposes, which replaces the IAF MD document
4:2023, 2nd edition, version 4. The new edition brings the obligation to apply the requirements of the document also in the area of
validation and verification bodies.
