On Monday, April 20, 2026, the Chairman of the Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (Global ACI) visited the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MIT), Brahim HoulaThe meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated and the Czech Accreditation Institute. During the visit, a short discussion took place on the future direction of this global organization and the support of accreditation in the Czech Republic and in the international context. The discussion focused primarily on the harmonization of procedures and strengthening the support of industry, trade and consumer protection.
The visit also included a tour of the historic building of the ministry. On this occasion, the Chairman of Global ACI presented the representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ing. Eva Průšová, the organization's new logo, recently introduced to the general public. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with CAI, thus became the first holders of this logo.
At the end of the meeting, all parties involved expressed their support for further development of cooperation. Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and CAI also wished Global ACI much success at the ongoing meeting in Prague.
