The IAF General Assembly in October adopted a statement drawing attention to the IAF Resolution, which sets the end of the transition period for conducting audits according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 on March 15, 2018.
From this date, all QMS and EMS audits must be conducted only according to the revised ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
The statement also draws attention to the fact that QMS or EMS certifications according to ISO 9001:2008 or ISO 14001:2004 will not be valid after the end of the transition period (September 15, 2018), which may affect the ability of companies to supply products to the market.
