World Accreditation Day

It is celebrated annually on June 9th.
The announcement is sponsored by the international accreditation organization Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (Global ACI).

The theme for 2026 is "Accreditation: Innovation, Trust and Sustainability" and focuses on how independent conformity assessment helps to safely introduce new technologies, build trust and meet the Sustainable Development Goals.
