CAI is a full member of international organizations dealing with the accreditation of certification bodies:

Within the framework of these international organizations, national accreditation bodies conclude multilateral agreements
on mutual recognition of the results of the activities of accreditation bodies; the field of management system certification
quality and environmental management relate to:

⇒ IAF MLA (Multilateral Agreement)
CAI is a signatory to these agreements, in their full scope.
Accreditation results are recognized within EU member states based on the European Regulation
Parliament and of the Council No 765/2008/EC.

Accreditation of certification bodies performing management system certification (COSM) is carried out according to the accreditation standard ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17021-1:2016. Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification services for management systems. Further information is provided in the document MPA 50-01-.. Methodological guidelines for accreditation, for the application of the standard ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17021-1:2016 in the accreditation system of the Czech Republic.
As part of the accreditation of certification bodies carrying out management system certification, the accreditation of EMAS verifiers is also carried out in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1221/2009 on the voluntary participation by organisations in a Community eco-management and audit scheme (EMAS).
